Look at those floating stone islands stacked like steps in a canyon, each one edged with sharp cliffs. A silvery ribbon of water rolls down, twisting into a spiral stair of smooth boulders that you can almost hear humming. Coloring Tips

Try using cool blues and teals for the water ribbon to give it a flowing feel, then warm grays for the stone islands. The glowing upper mountain works great with light pastel yellows or soft pinks—just enough to hint at that pale light. For the petrified trees, experiment with muted browns and greens; a touch of silver can make the bark look almost metallic.
