What’s in the Picture

Look up and you’ll see a huge dragon skeleton curving over a sparkling crystal lake, its ribcage turned into a stone bridge you could actually walk across. Beside it, a tower made of petrified flame seems to flicker without any heat, and a stairway of obsidian scales twists up toward a floating moon that’s shaped like a dragon’s eye. Down at the water’s edge, a little grove of jade leaves glows softly, adding a touch of magic to the scene.

Coloring Tips

You can play with contrast by shading the dragon bones dark and letting the lake stay bright. The flame tower looks great in orange or red even though the line art is just black‑and‑white—just imagine the heat! Try a deep purple or navy for the moon‑eye and maybe a neon green for the jade leaves to make them pop. Have fun mixing bold colors and softer shades.
